Kevin and his family are California natives who moved to Boston in July 2011, to plant Church @ The Well. He has been married to his best friend, Christy, since 1996, and has two children, Tanner and Lacey. Kevin loves spending time with his family and friends, playing sports (especially soccer), reading theology, exploring the city, meeting new people, and enjoying life. He has served as a pastor since 2005, and prior to that worked at a camp for inner-city kids in upstate New York. He holds two Masters Degrees (MAR & MDiv) and a BS in Biology. Before entering full-time ministry, Kevin and Christy owned and operated two successful businesses (a restaurant and a full- service catering business) in Bakersfield, CA.

Latch Family

Phil and his family moved to Boston in January of 2012 and they are thrilled to be living in the Jeffries Point neighborhood of East Boston. Phil gets to share life with his beautiful wife Melissa. They were married in April 2005, and they are now the proud parents of four incredible children named Nola, Micaiah, Jude and Elisha. He enjoys skateboarding, writing songs, and playing with his family in the park. Phil has been leading congregational worship since 2004 and he is passionate about equipping others to use their creativity, gifts, and talents for Jesus’ glory in and out of the Sunday gathering.

Love Family

Hailing from Bakersfield, California, Matt and his family moved to the Boston area in August 2011, and settled in Winthrop. He married his college sweetheart, Jullie, in 1993, and they have four wonderful children: Abigail, Alexandria, Andrew, and Annalise. Matt graduated from Sacramento State University, and spent 17 years as a high school teacher and football coach. He enjoys jogging, coaching, restaurant sampling, and counseling others, but most of all he enjoys spending quality time with his family. Matt has never met a stranger and has a great passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus with others.
