I had always felt life first as a story, and if there is a story there is a story-teller.~ G.K. Chesterton
Your life is a story that began the moment you were born. Since then, the plot has been developing with each passing day. Every event, encounter, relationship, and experience adds new dimension to your overall storyline. Characters are developed as new acquaintances, old friends, family members, and strangers make lasting impact. Like any story, there are moments of conflict, uncertainty, heartache, success, and victory. As each chapter of your life unfolds, the meaning of your overall storyline is slowly revealed.
However, from time to time, there are moments when you find yourself struggling to remember where you are headed and why you are going there; you get lost in your own story. The chapters seem fragmented, and, though you know they are supposed to fit together, for some reason it feels like something is missing. You begin to search for meaning and purpose; you long to be a part of something bigger than yourself. But why? The answer is a lack of true context.
The reality is this: your life story is meant to be told from the context of an even bigger story written by your Creator. He made you because you are an invaluable and important part of His master work. He loves and values you, and He desires for you to bring your story to Him just as it is. In doing so, you will find true meaning and purpose. You will begin to understand the importance of your past and find joyful direction for your future.
Church @ The Well invites you to share your story, and discover how, through Jesus, it can make a bigger impact than you could possibly imagine.
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.~ Maya Angelou
